6-9 October 2025: BioRECAST Presentation at European Steel Technology and Application Days

BIORECAST project activities were presented by Andrea Salimbeni from RE-CORD at the European Steel Technology and Application Days (ESTAD) on 6-9 October 2025 in Verona.

The presentation, titled "Application of a Novel Biowaste-Derived Biochar as a Coal Substitute in Electric Arc Furnace", highlighted key results of the BIORECAST project, in cooperation with project partner RINA Consulting - Centro Sviluppo Materiali.

A great step forward in promoting sustainable alternatives in the steelmaking industry!
